    YES! I am off to visitation this evening as well! I love the first few minutes, re-connecting, sharing stories over coffee...and just watching him! I hope all who are traveling for visits have a safe journey and the visit lasts forever!

    Well, another weekend is finally here! I am heading out first thing tomorrow for visitation. Anyone else going to travel for visitation this weekend?

    Toni, Thanks for the reply. I have since spoken to others at visitation and heard all types of horror stories like the one you shared! I have to always remember that someone else reads my letters first!

    Toni, You are NOT kidding, that's for sure!! Sometimes I will start talking about topics we have discussed in visitation and he will try to "hint" to me about changing topics.....If I don't get the hint fast enough he has actually bailed on our call!! Then I snap to it, and remember...

  • Missing him is tough

    I am always awake before my alarm goes off at 5am. It is visitation day and I can't wait. Within an hour, I am showered, dressed and on the road. It is only 75 miles but the highway seems to stretch forever. Driving through the small towns I never knew existed used to be exciting. Now, I wonder if...
