  • Re: HOW DO I FIND MY SISTER IN LAW????

Okay, I myself went to the state website and because I had his CID # and State # I was able to easily locate him if I needed. I knew where he was but looked it up anyway. Now I tried to look for you. From what I understand Ca is different. And you send in a fax to request the status of someone. Like I said it would really help if you had his #'s

  • Re: it's been three years----does the pain never stop?

I feel your pain Martha, I really do!! When you love someone so much, it hurts to not be able to make things better. But in our situation all we can do our best one day at a time. And gosh, isn't it funny when times get hard people drift away. It really amazes me. I often want to vent about it. But I try not to let others steal my joy. Even though

  • Re: how do you send money to an inmate in Texas prisons

I am not sure if all the prisons in Texas are alike. But I send money to Texas. And when I send money you have to enclose a slip with their name and number, I get the slips from my husband. And sometimes they have extra when you go to visit that you can pick up. But to I have to send the slip with a postal money order to Huntsville and they process

  • Re: I like this place already

I too, have to admit I am a member of PT and still go there rarely after finding this site. But they do have a lot of resources. I love this site. And have to say I find more here of what I am looking. I like to know what my husband must be going through. Which, do not get me wrong, if I want to know anything all I have to do is ask. But at the same
  • Re: New to this!! Daughter at Muncy

Oh, I am not sure but you could call up there and talk to someone. And asked them what is going on. They will be able to tell you.

  • Re: How are inmates allowed mail? Polk CI

You need find out the address to the facility. And you also need their # number to go on the address. You can call the facility and they should be able to answer your questions or the mail room.

  • Re: quick question

It would not hurt to call the mail room. Cause they can tell you. You do not want to send it and it be denied. I send my husband paper and envelopes. And paper and envelopes together weigh a good bit. I am not sure how much you are sending. They have guidelines you have to follow.

  • Re: after time served

They do get a check upon release. But it is not a whole lot. They can apply for housing before release like a half way house. They are giving clothes if they are called that. But as far as that goes when they are released you can take them a set of clothes and they can change into them before they are actually released. They are given a bus ticket if
