The only thing i have ever heard on this subject is only gay sex with other convicts...which is discuting to me. So hopefully there are some real men in there simply holding out or holding on to there own....but i am sure that there are "straight" men who engage in this gay sex while in prison and never talk about it...?~~Toni

Hi Becca, Yes it is true. All telephone calls are monitered by a CO as well as letters are read by staff as well. The only time you will have verbal privacy is during a vivt and that is why your friend or loved one speaks to you about such private things during these visits.
