My name is Karen and on May 28,2009 I was at court with my boyfriend for the 4th time and this time, the worst happened....they took him into custody. He is currently local so I have visited but soon they will transfer him up-state to a drug treatment correctional facility.
This is my first experience with this sort of thing and I'm having a hard time. We really didn't expect them to take him. He has been doing well for soo long. The weekend was really hard for me. He made me promise to stay strong so.....that's what I have to do. Maybe with the help of others in a similar situation will help me. I hope so.
