i cant stand it anymore, i am to the point of anxiety and dispair. i love my husband and he will be released in june 2009 but i feel like we are two different people. if he wasnt such a selfish ass<#$% he never would have went to jail. he was so addicted to drugs and was robbing places that i just didnt care anymore what he did and i stuck by him through it all and now i have gotten ill due to the stress. and i am not even excited about his release date, it is just a time , a short time before he does this stuff all over again and i am left with two small children taking care of everything and being the adult about the situation. can someone help me. everyone says give him the benefit of the doubt people change, but i just dont know.

umh, only you can make the choice to take him back. I have been there and done that and mine did not turn out well. But if you love him make him prove himself while not living in your home or messing witth your life and if he truly loves you he will understand and do this. Remember stress kills and you have two small children to think of and put first. Good luck to you and your children
Well, I understand where your coming from completely and must admit I am sitting right beside you in the same boat. I love my husband as well as Im sure we all do but one can only question if the shoe was on the other foot, would they really be stressing and holding down the household and kids and making themselves sick over us? Don't even answer that. Mine was an addict too and of course as soon as he hit county he was a changed man. He swears he's done with all that and that he wants us to put everything behind us. There is no right answer or justification to what you are asking, but only soul searching. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has the free will to change them or not. If you truley love him at least give it one more shot, at least you've heard from your's, I don't even know where the hell mine is! Good luck!
