Hi, my son is in putman co.jail waiting to be sent to a indaina prison. i live in sacramento ca. he was born here and he grew up here. and he loved it here. He went to indaina to see his sister and he got in to some trouble. well now he has to do 3 years in prison. He is at some small town co jail. he told me he feels like he on mars. his sister lives in lafayette in, and is 7 months pregnant. she doesn't even know where greencastle in. is. so because i love my son i have him call me every tuesday afternoon.
when he calls me i have to pay $17.85 for 15 minutes. my telephone bill is around $175.00 dollers a month. and 15 minutes isn't a long to talk . when i hear him tell me that he getting to crack i have him call back. i have to have him call back . he has some mental issue's(depression) and he can't get any meds until he gets to prison. so my telephone is my son's life line. i guess when your in jail in a smalltown in the midwest and your calling to the west coast . The jail telephone service has you by the balls.

I understand about your phone bill! The calls are ridiculous as far as price!! But what can we do? (sigh) Well, I looked up the area your son's in on mapquest, and it looks like it's not too far from Indianapolis. I don't know if that helps any, but you can look it up- your daughter will know better what she's lookin at. The address I found for it is

hello thank you for taking the time to get back to meyes, my son is in putman co. jailand i live in sacramento ca. my daughter lives in lafayette.but she only moved there 2 years ago and she is 8 1/2 months pregnant andshe has no idea where putman is at. my son feels like he is on mars.i'm flying out on march 9th 09. my daughter is due on march 10th. my son (dennis's)birthday is on feb 12th, i would like to know if there is anyone that can help me with a ride to go and see my son. i will pay for gas.

Well, I am in Alabama, so I won't be much help, but if you don't find someone in the area, I know places like Enterprise (car rental) isn't bad on a weekend deal or for a day. Also, try www.prisontalk.com they have a bigger audience and probably have more people in the area where he is. Good luck!
