Hello my son is in Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown, CA and is waiting to go to firecamp as well. He has been waiting for last 6 months. The last update that I got from him 2 days ago is that Jamestown seems to be the only place where they are trying to integrate inmates and that it's not going well. So much that those who are not going along with the integration, which is pretty much everyone, have lost their privleges for 90 days, been in the "hole", have had time added on to their sentences and have had their fire camp priveleges cancelled. He said it doesn't look good and the only thing for any of them to do is to put in for transfers to other prisons where they might have a chance to go to camps and hope they get their transfers.

am so very sorry about all you and you loved one are going thru. please forgive my ignorance, but what are you meaning by intergration....these men sound as if they are in danger. and a lot of heads are turning the other way. im a 66 year old mom waiting for her boy[39] to come home. he is in nebraska state pen. we will put your son and those around him in our prayers. all of us momma's need to hold each other up....martha[a mother waits]
