MISSION: Provides programs to prisoners and general labor details to surrounding areas. The population includes medium security general population prisoners, as well as those on out- patient mental health status.
HOUSING: Consists of three buildings containing 12 open dormitories housing between 60 and 100 inmates each. There are also 12 multi-occupancy rooms and 148 double-bunked beds. The facility has 15 isolation/segregation cells.
WORK DETAILS: Central State Hospital, Baldwin County, Mobile Construction and general labor. Also provides specific support to Central State Hospital in food service, sanitation and central housekeeping.
DIRECTIONS: From Atlanta: I-20 East to Highway 441 South to Milledgeville. Through downtown Milledgeville on Highway 441 for one mile, turn left on Vinson Highway (GA 112). About one mile, turn right onto Laboratory Road then turn left onto Bostick Road. Turn right onto Lawrence Road. Scott SP is ½ mile on the left.
