Directions: From I-75 (Pembroke Pines) exit onto Sheridan Street West. Travel west approximately three miles, the institution will be on your right. From US-27, travel east on Sheridan Street for approximately one mile. The institution will be on your left.

Historical Information: This facility was established in 1977, originally to house male inmates; however, only female inmates have resided here. It housed female death row inmates until February 2003 when death row was moved to Lowell Annex. Currently Broward C.I. is a reception center for female inmates.
