My Time
My time will not diminish who I am as a person or will these walls which keep me from living a free life detour me from the goals that I have set for myself. I've found in myself, through hardship and struggles that I am a man. Heartache, pain, happiness and joy have shaped and molded me into who I am as a person.
My circumstances are who I am, I don't regret. I use my past to better my future. Man is forever improving threw trial and error. History is proof of that. You learn through experience. Life as we know it would not be how it is today without mistakes. I take that and apply the mistakes made in my life to better myself. I am far from a perfect person, nor would I ever want to be someone who is perfect.
I try to cherish my mistakes the way I cherish my success. Because success would not be worth *** without all the mistakes. I stand firm on my own. "Me" no one can ever be me, and in turn I can never be anyone else. I stand alone and walk on my own two feet. In life you come into contact with people who effect how you see the world, how you view life.
To dwell on the past is such a waist of the present. Life is a journey and one to be embraced with open arms because it only is one life. What is today will soon be tomorrow that alone open's my mind to the concept of living for today.
I'm not saying not to plan for the future or to completely loose sight of your past because they both play a role in shaping your today. What I've gone through in my life has really made me see that I've got to enjoy what I've got and the relationships I've been blessed to make cuz once there gone you can go back in time to relive them.
