Well since no one knows i guess ill go this weekend and when i come home i will be posting my experience with all of you. Pray for my trip that i make it there okay and that we (everyone attending be blessed)
talk to you all later,
Wow, how can I put into words the feelings that this weekend provided me. GOD!!!!!
5 couples were joined together this weekend for 16 hours. We sat together, ate together, walked together, We kissed, we held one another, and didnt have to worry about the CO's saying, back up, 5 minutes, nothings. our men were called by thier names and not thier numbers. They were given respect for 2 days. They were treated as they should be.
We learned so much. I learned about how he feels, and he learned about me. We were taught how to deal with this prison seperation, and how to come back together as one at the end of this journey.
My head is still spinning, but i want to share one thing.
For almost 2 years I agonized over one question. "God, because we married out of your will, do you honor my marriage? That was my biggest question. SO much has happened,,, so many things pulling at us, pulling us apart, or trying too. Then last night my answer came from heaven. If you are not a big person on faith you wont get this, but if you have faith you will understand.
I have been spending the last 2 days asking counselors and ministers how i know that God honors my marriage, Saturday night i went back to the hotel and as I stood outside i looked down and saw something shinny on the ground. I went downstairs and low and behold it was a cross in the dirt, tattered, worn, and missing stones,, but to me it was a beautiful sight, it was God telling me . 'I honor your marriage and I bless it." He was telling me that if I just trust him we will get through this.
If you get a chance to participate in a marriage seminar I encourage you to do that. It will strengthen you and it will teach you so much. I know it taught me to trust God and to trust my instincts about my marriage.
I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH, HOW WONDERFUL FOR YOU. YES GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, EVEN WHEN WE CAN'T SEE IT. I'M GLAD THAT YOU BOTH LEARNT HOW THIS IS AFFECTING THE OTHER. IT CAN ONLY MAKE YOU STRONGER. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
