i truly don't understand why the facility is always on lockdown and my thing is that an inmates family remember may have already made arrangements to visit and could be coming from far away and the least the warden could do is have the common courtesy to let the inmates call their family to notify them that they are on lockdown.but to be honestthe usp 2 in coleman live on lockdown so to speak. if there's anyone out there who feels where i'm coming from let me know how you feel about the situtation regardless to what facility they are in.

Hi T. This is C. and I agree with you on this situation. The inmates are going to do nothing but get stressed out and more frustrated then they already are. Whatever happen to the souls of consideration in this world. They are already on lockdown and now they have to deal with doubledown time. There is a statement program that states that the inmates responsibility is to inform there visitors of them not being able to have visits. what is the justification of this statement if it is not going to be utilized in the confounds of FBOP regulations. How many people have to suffer with the decision making of that facility. Me personally I love and I miss my fiance and I want to see him. You no what Iam going to do let go and let God handle my battles in this world.If this is for the saftey of our love ones then let them out so that can inform us that they are okay. CB

I totally understand where you are coming from!!! My husband is in usp 1 at coleman. I went to visit in October and although he was on lockup, he should have been able to have a contact visit. However, the prison officials allowed him to join us first in the common area. Only to disrupt the visit and put us behind the glass. So i definitely get it. They stay on lockdown for trivial reasons. It's only to break there spirits. This system is designed to break up families, so stay strong!!!!
Try calling usp 1 to get some information. If anything they may transfer you to a direct connect. Where you'll get someone on the line. I hope this helps

i feel where you're coming from on the usp2 lockdown, because my fiance is in the 2 as well and i tell you they keep our men on lockdown more than anything and you know what it use to frustrate the hell out of me but i've learn to deal with it and be strong for him as well as myself. but the staff down there gets lazy a-- sh-t when they lock them down and as for as visiting the shu always visit on thursdays but whatever you do always i mean always call before you go visit cause i don't know how far you come to visit but regardless that's your time and gas that you've wasted.but just call until you get someone on that phone and you can call that wednesday before visiting to see if they'll have visits on thursday if you man is still in the shu,other than that if he's out of shu then regular visits are on friday,saturday,sunday and mondays as well as federal government holidays. i hope this helps you out.
