The CMC labor crews are utilized for reclamation, beautification and maintenance of the East Canon Complex infrastructure, its buildings, lands and resources. There are 58 line staff and 7 other staff. SCC provides inmates for Correctional Industry programs to include farm, fish, and chickens.

SCC is the only Level I facility in Canon City and although some educational programs are available, SCC is basically a working camp that provides inmate labor for Correctional Industries.

Inmates assigned to Skyline Correcitional Center are within 60 months of their parole eligiblility date and in many cases have attended numerous treatment programs offered through the Colorado Department of Corrections. Skyline Correctional Center does have drug and alcohol couseling available and encourages continued treatment throughout Community, Parole and upon release.

Associate Warden Bobby Allen has 25 years experience in the corrections field in North Carolina and Colorado. He began his career as a Correctional Officer and has promoted through the ranks.
Custody Control Manager Ray Masse has 25 years experience with the Colorado DOC. He began his career as a Correctional Support Lead Worker in the Food Service Department.
