I just got approved to go see my fiance in c.c.f. shafter and he told me that I cant wear blue jeans but I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be ok if I wore black jeans? and which is easier shoes or sandals? I just want to make it as easy as possible to get in to see him. So if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. Oh and if the visit starts at 8am what time should i be there to get proccessed in?

Also i have gotten two letters from him and each one has a different address and when i call they give me a diffrenet one toooooo

Mendoza Prison, Argentina, South America. It has a chronic overcrowding problem, though it has designed for 600 but there are 1600 housing. Prisoners typically sleep on the floor, are subjected to prolonged and frequent lock downs and they are frequently tortured.There have been 22 deaths in the prision between February 2004 to Novemember 2005. Causes of these death yet have to be ascertained. The living condition in this prison is nightmare. Upto 5 prisoners sleep in a 4 square meter cell without matresses.They defecate in plastic bags and urinate in bottles.

What can visitors bring to inmates?

I'm going into Lynwood on Friday, for felony DUI charges. This is my first time being in trouble, let alone going to jail. My friends want to know what they can bring to me while I'm in there. I shouldn't be in there too long, but can they bring me books? snacks? I'm not really sure what the guidelines are like for LA county jails. Anyone know what they're allowed to bring me? Also, I got sentenced to 90 days....how long do you think I'll actually serve? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, ~Laur

My son told me that visiting at Donovan is not like any other prison I have been to. He says there are no vending machines and that you order your food before you go into the visiting room. he is in the amnity drug program...anyone know anything about this? I'd like to be prepared before I visit this Sunday. thanks a bunch
