Whiteville Correctional Facility (WCFA) is a time-building institution with a security designation of medium. WCFA is managed by Corrections Corporation of America, a private corrections management firm.
The facility offers cognitive-behavioral residential and non-residential substance abuse programs. Other programs include anger management, life skills, family counseling, and pre-release counseling.
Academic programs include GED, Adult Basic Education, and English as a Second Language. Vocational programs include building trades, carpentry, computer refurbishing, electrical, masonry, and small engine repair.
DIRECTIONS:
From Interstate 40 (I-40), take Exit #52 (Stanton-Koko Road Exit). Take Stanton-Koko Road East, travel 1/2 mile. Take State Route 76 South, travel 1/2 mile. Turn East onto Highway 179 to Whiteville, travel 14.8 miles. Turn East onto Highway 15, travel 1.2 miles to the intersection of US 64 and Highway 100. Turn West on US 64/Highway 100, travel .8 mile. Turn South onto Union Springs Road, travel approximately 2 miles.
