Mission Statement
The mission of Warner Creek Correctional Facility is to maintain a safe and secure correctional environment engaging the Lake County community in partnerships that enhance the quality of community life and create constructive influences in the lives of offenders.

Visiting Rule: OAR Div 127 Visiting (Inmate)

Directions:
From eastern Oregon (Malheur and Harney Counties): Take Highway 20 west, turn left at Riley onto US-395 and continue for approx. 91 miles to Valley Falls, turn left at Lakeview/Bend turnoff still staying on US-395.  Follow US-395 approx. 24 miles to Geyser View Lane and turn right,  go to Rabbit Hill Road and turn right again.  Follow Rabbit Hill Road until you come to the institution entrance (approx. 2 miles).
From western Oregon: Take I-5 South until  the OR-58/Willamette Hwy. exit (exit number 188A).  Take OR 58/Willamette Hwy towards Oakridge/Klamath Falls.  Keep left at the fork in the ramp.  Merge onto OR-58. and follow it for 86.3 miles (138.8 km).  OR-58 becomes US-97 South, stay on US-97 for about 77.5 miles (124.6 km).  Keep going straight to go onto Kit Carson Way for approx. 1.9 miles (3.0 km).  Stay straight to go onto OR-39 for 5.0 miles (8.0 km).  Turn left onto OR-140 and travel about 90.5 miles (145.7 km).  Turn left onto North F Street/US-395.  Take US-395 until you come to Geyser View Lane (approx. 2 miles).  Turn left on Geyser View Lane and go to Rabbit Hill Road and turn right.  Follow Rabbit Hill Road until you come to the institution entrance on your left (approx. 2 miles).

Inmate Phone Use

General Population Inmates
General population inmates are allowed to use the phones in the dayroom from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. On the yard and in the activities building they can use phones whenever the yard is open.
 
Inmates in holding are not allowed to use phones unless it is an emergency.
 
Emergency Notifications
In an emergency families can call master control at (541) 947-8383. They will then either be connected to the chaplain or a counselor. After hours the family will be connected to the officer in charge.





Sending mail to an inmate

How do I send mail to an inmate?   When mailing to an inmate, please make sure:
If you have questions regarding inmate mail, they should first be directed to the mailroom at the institution where the person is located.

Visiting an inmate

How do I visit an inmate?  
Only people on an inmate´s visiting list may visit. Each inmate has a visiting list and it is he/she who takes the first step in putting someone on the list. More information about visiting is available on the Internet at OAR Div 127 Visiting (Inmate).
 
Visiting hours for each prison are posted on the Internet. Please go to Prisons and select the prison you are interested in visiting from the list.
How to deposit money in an inmate´s account  
Funds may be placed on an inmate’s Central Trust account with either a money order or cashier’s check (note, we do not accept checks issued from bank bill pay service.)
The Department of Corrections cannot accept cash or personal checks.
 
1. Make the money order/cashier’s check payable to: "DOC," with the inmate’s name and SID number.
 
Example:
Payable to: DOC for John Doe, SID #1234567.
 
On the money order/cashier’s, check you must write the name and mailing address of purchaser, including city, state, and zip code.

2. Mail the money order/cashier’s check to:

The money will be put in the inmate’s account upon receipt through the mail.

The Dome Building is located on the corner of 23rd Street (across from Salem Rehabilitation Hospital) and Center Street (across from the main building of Oregon State Hospital) on the State Hospital campus.

Please do not include any letters or other personal items to the inmate in the envelope that you use to mail the money order/cashier’s check. Letters, cards and/or pictures cannot be accepted and will be discarded.
