Fortunately, I was able to locate my brother who WAS in North Kern State Prison, but was recently transferred to the California Medical Facility (CMF). I called CMF, but they re-directed me to an answering machine where I left a message.
My question: Does anyone know the visiting guidelines for the California Medical Facility? My family (myself, mother, and aunt) would like to visit my brother. We're traveling from LA to Vacaville (where CMF is located) for the first time so I'm a bit lost. I first called to Inmate locator where I obtained my brother's CDC # and his current location. I then called the Visiting Info Locator where they informed me that visiting hours is Saturday and Sundays from 8am to 3:30pm. Can anyone confirm this?
