Hi to all my new friends. I say friends because no one in my life has any idea what I am going through with the love of my life and in prison, and a 3 year old daughter that misses him so much and doesnt deserve this. Ricardo is at HDSP and has been there now for about 2 weeks. I am so new to this and I am beginning to feel numb over him being gone because it is soooo hard. He is only gone until may 14th 2010, but still it is very hard. I am looking for people who would like to become friends and share their feelings about this difficult time in their lives rather it be your son, hubby, boyfriend, cousin, or anyone it is that is locked up. I feel so alone and just want to meet people that understand this horrible feeling of lonlyness and sadness, Anyone is welcome to email me and I will reply to all. The "good' part is that your man won't be gone too long. I know any time away is too long. LOL

We are going threw the samethingmy fiance got lockedup when i was 9months pregnant, i had our daughter 1 week after he went to jail i was 3 weeks early we also have a 2 yr old but she was 1 1/2 when he went to jail so your not alone. Our oldest daughter was a daddys girl she still crys for him but we try to talk once a week. He is now in prison in NV for a probation violation but we live in CA. His parole hearing is coming up oct 21st his case worker says he might not have a chance to parole to CA since he messed up with his probation but since he been locked up ive seeked the lord, He has done miracles for me so far. If he doesnt get paroled he wont be out till 2011. I just want you to know your not alone. I was going threw one of the hardest things ever being pregnant and raising a 1 1/2 yrold alone and he got arrested right in front of us just pray for strenght and patience and everything will be okay.
Hay Andrea, it is so nice to hear from someone who knows what the heck this is like. That really must be hard with 2 kids. I cant imagine! Ricardo was gone threw my whole pregnancy between jail and court mandated rehab. He is a bad alcoholic. When he did come home (my daughter was 2 months old), he got a job, and stayed dpber about 8 months. Then he relapsed and things got out of control again. He drank almost everyday until January of this year and we had a horrible relationship. Then he got arrested for disorderly conduct, and for the first time I was tired of it, and I actually went and filed a restraining order. Well, that did it. He finally realized he was losing me and his daughter and went to rehab again but this time he went on his own, and wanted to become sober. We have been together for almost 6 years now and have had the worst codependency relationship ever. Since Feb, he came home, stayed sober and for the first time we were in love, and even talking about getting married. Then the judge dropped a bomb on him during a monthly review and told him that because he got that new charge in january, and he hadnt paid his restitution, he was giving him a 2 year suspended sentence from 5 years ago. No one was expecting this, and they gave him one day to say good by to his daghter and then he had to surrender. They gave him four months credit and allowed him to recieve half time so he is now comming home (I pray), on May 14th of 2010. I know that isnt very far, but to me, it feels like forever. I am also working fulltime and my hours suck so i dont see my daughter much. Where I work at I also can rarely get a weekend day off to even go visit him. It would be nice to get to know you better. Hey Shovonee, I stumbled across this site looking for different info, having questions to. Im so pissed Ill write more tomorrow but i just joined the site wrote a long response to you compared the *** I myself am going through and how I otally relate but before I could send I lost it so again tomorrow I guess. Glad I found some people to talk to though that get thit messed up crap. Anyway, if anyone out there knows any info about the visiting, and mainly any ifo on how and procedures all that stuff on weddind ceremonies any info at al would be so helpful and do they let married couples have congical visits there at all. If anyone has any info that would be awesome thanks!!!!

Hello our family is going through a rough time also our only son is in prison...he is only first time ever...I so hard not being able to c him...he is a raelly good person and got in trouble in a little bittie small town and small mind and now my so is being made an example out his situation... i hope things will get better for the both of us
I did 3 years at HDSP, been through it all there. Good times, and difficulties with staff, visiting, family visits, riots, drama, and transferring out of there. The transfer was the best part. If you need to know anything, and I can help you, I'd be more than happy. daddiowayne@yahoo.com
