Okay, I myself went to the state website and because I had his CID # and State # I was able to easily locate him if I needed. I knew where he was but looked it up anyway. Now I tried to look for you. From what I understand Ca is different. And you send in a fax to request the status of someone. Like I said it would really help if you had his #'s. I found this number is 916-445-6713 and hours are M-F 8-5. of course excluding state holidays. And there is a fax number 916-322-0500. And from what I understand and or heard the first number is a land line and expect to be on hold a while. And the other of course is a fax number and I heard that it takes a while to get a response if any. Now I could not find it but surely there is a state web site you should be able to look up someone. Maybe this will get you started.
