my boyfriend has jus left the men central jail and is heading to delano prison...i belive hes been there before however this is my first time going thur it with him in prison.county is one thing but now prison...omg..i wanted to no if theres anyone who has a loved one there to and can help answers my questions and concerns please....real talk pls...thank you
I can't promise but to share some of what I have gone thorugh,having been in prison before, and blogging about prison since 2002, If you have a subject that you want somebody to talk about, I will do my best to try to explain it from an ex felon's perspective. We all do our time differently, but to me we have similarities as well. Hang in there, you can get through this.
Hello, it's nice to have someone that is willing to help answer questions to thing that people like myself know nothing about, I have a brother who has been in nksp for almost 6 months now, he has spoken to his counselor, and she has recommended for him 2 places to finish his time, one is in Norco, and the other one I believe is avelan, we would love to have him in Norco, but we have to wait and see, my question is how much does the counselors recommendations matter? Whoever makes the decision go by the counselor recommendations or they decide? I am praying that chino is not an option; I have heard nothing but bad stories about chino. Any help that you give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
What you need to do is send him stamped envelopes with a notebook that is not spiral like the legal yellow notepad. Only if he is getting send to kern County for reception because that will be the only way you guys will have contact until they send him to a permament prison, delano is jus a temp. Everything will be fine though just keep being there for him.
The counsler recommendations are what matters the most. wherever they decide to send them is where they will go.

Hi, has your boyfriend sent to the application yet? He has to be the one to do it, fill it out and then return it back to him in a letter, the mailroom will get it and pass it on the the visiting department for approval.It can take a while though to know that you are approve around 2 months at the least, they take their time.It all really depends on them to approve you. good luck

Hey...well my fiance is in jail for 10 months going to state jail...this is my first too...he was supposed to get 2yrs but...some how god answer my prayers and im not going to lie gurl it is hard...and i cry alot...but...my sister has been keeping me active so i dont cry not to mention i write him as possiable and send pictures,also i cant wait to see him again...once i go back to tx...im in fl now and i truley miss my man...what keeps me hanging on is how we made great memories and still have more to come...i look at my left hand finger and remember when he put that ring on my finger...i couldnt believe it...i know imma be there for my babe,i just hope he doesnt lose it in jail and think i gave up...just cause i dont have any $$$ to give him...its hard you know...im out of a job and can hardley support myself...im in college just for him so we can have a life once he comes out...and im living with my mom so i dont have much to give until i graduate and have a real job...
but...if you love him and cant imange being apart then listen to that heart! not to those who say you need to leave him...cause i've been hearing ppl saying imma leave him or were not going to last which is bull ***! cause i love him and i alreadii went threw this when he went to jail and got out on bond...i had to stip to support him and he loves me for that...cause i dod everything in my power the first time...if your willing to sacrifice like me...and others then you alreadii know the answer and that answer is to STAY!
