Does anyone know anything about the good time bill that is suppose to be voted on in jan 09 or is that a bunch of rummors going around the michigan prisons again. Please get back with me if anyone has any information on it, or just write back & say hey & maybe we can chat.

am sure its a bunch of lies i wouldnt have to much hope in it but you can call the prison and ask them if its true they will tell you the truth
nothing has happened with those bills since they were read last February - they will have to be read again and start from scratch - they've been around for a few years now but no activity
No this bill has not come to pass. In the 1970's Legislation abolished this law! They need to bring it back, if they did our prison systems wouldnt be so over-populated. They need to recognize all the achievements and accreditations inmates have received while being incarcerated and apply those merits. You can go to www.congress.org and you will find all the bills that have been passed and what people want voted in.
