Going in

 

For those of you going in for the first time,its important to remember that its not the end of the world,& unless you`ve smoked somebody,you`ll probably be getting out..sooner or later..If you`ve never been in before,keep to yourself,keep your mouth shut,& be respectful of others,including the C.O.`S. Stay out of the tv rooms,if you can,& never forget you`re in a different world,than the one you came from.If you`ve got alot of yrs to do,its best to forget the outside world,read,exercise, try to better yourself,while you`re in..Don`t try to tie in to a gang,unless you have to ,to survive.Its best to steer clear of those guys.If you do all of the above,I can guarantee it`ll be easy time,& you won`t have to sleep with one eye open,you`ll build respect with the staff,who own your ass,the whole time in there,& you`ll earn friends who`ll watch your back un-asked.. It just pisses me off to no end,to see these gang-bangers walk around,proud as hell they`ve made it inside,& don`t get me wrong-if thats where they`re heads at,more power to them.I just refused to let the System take all my self-esteem,& I damn sure  won`t be getting hit in the ass with the prison door again..One time was enough to get my attention..Good luck, & when you come back home,forget that you went in,& concentrate on loving your family,& earning a good living the hard,but honest way.........................
