hi eveyone let me start by saying thank you for taking the time out while i share my story. my brother anthony is 23 he just went to trail on the 19 for a crime he did not do and his trial was 5 days long and in the end they convicted him 12 people thought my brother was guilty as charged but the fact is he was not i dont understand how they even say that because of the evindence my brothers lawyer had!!!! about a year ago my brother was at a party and he got drunk with some firends a fight brok out and a boy got really hurt one of the other kids had hit the boy and and the boy fell and hit his head on the sidewalk now the cops and the emt came out to the party and the boy was told he needed to go to the hospital but he refused said he was fine and wanted to stay home a few days later about 3 the boys mother comes home and finds her son dead. now 3 days later he did not want medical treatment he identified the boy that had hit him whom by the way fled the sene when the cops showed up and now since the boy died they need someone to charge with involintary man sloughter.. so my brother being the man he is stood up and admitted that he was there and he did get into a fight with the boy but he wasnt the one who stuck him and made him fall to the ground and he wasnt the one identified has to hire a $20,000 lawyer to help him win the case now this trail was put off for a year continued many times because the state didnt have enough evidnece finally last week we go to court and begin and halfway throught everyone keeps saying its looking good and going well than the last day comes and the jury was taking too long to make a decision and my mom got scared and panicted she wanted to know what was going on as well as me i never herd theres words and never thought i would or could the words that crushed me my mom father our little brother and anthonys wife to be we the jury find anthony cristobal guilty of involintary man sloughter hes sentenced to 2 yrs and 2 months for a crime he didnt do...i want to know how the officer first on spot told the judge and jury my brother infact wasnt the one who was indentified and how a boy that refused medical treatments death can be pined on someone elce perhaps he went to the er he would still be living today!!! my deepest sympothy goes to his family for his loss and i am sorry for what happen but if your going to take another person and lock them away you really should have the right one, now my family is suffering and we are tryiong to get an apeal the first price we got was $50,000 who the hell has that kind of money these days we found a lwayer thats willing to do it for $15,000 i think thats the one were going with. thank you for taking the time again for reading my story, i just needed amin to vent i havent been able to do so thank you
