Hi All~ Does anyone know how long its taking to catch the chain form LA county Jail. My guy was sentenced 7 May 08 and is waiting to transfer. He said some of the guys have been thier 45 days to catch the chain. If I am correct, while waiting he is only getting 1/3 so this is adding time to his stay if he isnt already doing 1/2 time.
Depending on his sentence, he may not even be getting 1/3 time...LA County is sometimes considered dead time, and doesn't count at all. Depending on where they send him, it could take up to 4 months, that's the stunt they pulled on my old man.....so hope that yours turns out better! Of course, if they send him up to Delano, then you have to wait until he transfers to GP to talk to him...so.....good luck!
