My son has received threats of violence.  I'm not sure if he's ever alright.  We are supposed to be able to rely on our Ombudsman to help us through these times.  Just like every other case, I get an voice mail and a promise to call me back.  It's never happened and I doubt now that it ever will.  They locked my boy up with violent offenders.  He will never survive.  I'm so scared.

Have you called the warden at the prison he is at?  Where is he at?  What state.  Prison have all sorts of men, violent and non violet who are there for petty things, but nonetheless I understand your concern.  PRison life is very hard but your son is going to have to learn to adapt, there is really nothing you can do for him.  They will not move him becuase your afraid for him,  that seems harsh to hear but it is the truth.  THe system doesnt care.  He is going to have to ride this one out alone.  You raised him and Im sure you did a great job and he can and will get through this.

If you dont mind me asking what was his charge, and for how long?
