  im sure there are inmates who can cook, or thats what they done on the out side.let these cook on the inside as well that cuts cost,they used too. you know apot of red beans,with real seasonings over rice,cornbread, is good cheap to make and filling.meatloaf is not hard either and not little deck of card size portions either.whats with a chicken leg the size of a pigen?people need food.lots of satisfing food.food, medical,creative activity learning skills(you know JOBS) they can get outside!!!!!not dish washer or any other job our school kids do for fun money.There are so many in there that could really cut the cost.plumbers,electricans,doctors,masons,carpenters,the list is endless,,,but guess what????? as the state claims the horrindous cost of running these facility's??? they are using the men and women's skills,how ever they are not paid  or paid 75 cents per day maybe 1dollor. So where did the money go that was appointed for this??????Most inmates are worried if they get hurt or complain of stomach pain headaches,chest pain or any number of symptums we take to our doctors. these men and women are told fill out a kite.....they do.....then comes the wait shuffle papers here shuffle papers there.in the main time the inmate is getting worse mybe heart maybe diebetes,can be any number of ailments.does any one care? seems a resounding NO is the answer.another thing why is it so difficult to have a real set of sheets,as well as two honest to goodness warm blankets????they provide better bedding for their pets at home.will write more later from (a mother waits)
