Holiday Poem

My Deep Love Of You!

When the daylight is gone from the sky,
And we're sitting here by the log fire,
I think how lucky I was to have found you.
I did not know the true meaning of love,
That is until you walked into my life�

That was to be the luckiest day of my life honey,
I now know how to receive love, and return
It with a passion unknown to me before.
When we are together it is like a racing wildfire,
Burning hot and fast, with smoldering embers
Reaching out everywhere, but so hard to find�

Like floods that sweeps over the earth
And runs over its banks, my devotion.
And passionate love sweeps over everything you do.
Like the wings of an angel, my undying love
Will softly cover you in all that you try, so that
It shall always be there whether I am here or not,�

This I do promise you baby, no matter what
I will always be here by your side.
If you should fall, it'll be me who picks you up
Not a stranger, or a passer by, if you
Have to cry, you will have my shoulder to cry upon;
Then, when you laugh, I'll laugh along side of you�

My love for you erupts like a volcano,
Always hot and never fully to die or go out,
For you have shown me what it's like to love again.
If I should ever do you wrong, don't be afraid
To tell me, for I will fix it, not tomorrow but today
This is my undying pledge, which I give to you alone�!
