When my husband was transferred to Middleton he was reclassed.  On my second vsist to him I was led to a visitation seat and 30 minutes later a co came over and told me she had me at the wrong window. I got up and followed he and saw my husband sitting in a booth, like an animal.  My heart was heavy as i didnt know his classifiaction had changed.  I sat down and the visist was horrible.

I had paid for a picture prior to the visit and 3o minutes into the visit the Co came and got him up for his picture. I had to sit and watch as they handcuffed him and escorted him into the hallway.  Other prisioners walked by and my husband had to turn his back to them,  They took his picute with handcuffs.  He was led back into his box and cuffs removed.  I could see the hurt in his eyes, the humiliation of me seeing him like that.  There is nothing worse than seeing your loved one in shackes.  In a prison setting I mean.  Death is worse, and I have to be greatful for prison because had my husband not been sent to prison he would be dead and I would be sitting at his grave right now.

My heart goes out to you guys. My baby is also in admin seg and he wants me to be his wife when i come. So much of

what i hear explains alot of what he feels. yes, they may have been spared life, and we pray they now want to live life abundantly. He has gotten into better spirits since he has settled in, and it shows in his letters. Your hubby will do fine, just keep writing and visit even if it hurts to see him

unless he says not to. Then i bet you still would. Good Luck, mrscooper
