Minimum Center (PMC) is a 256-bed minimum-restrictive facility for
females with 71 staff. The facility consists of three renovated units
on the grounds of the
Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo. Inmates assigned to PMC
work for
CMHIP and do other community projects in the Pueblo area. It is the
mission of
the Pueblo Minimum Center to provide a professional, secure, and humane
correctional environment for female offenders at a minimum restricted
security classification to prepare them for reintegration to the
community by
providing meaningful work and self-improvement programs.
The mission of the Pueblo Minimum Center is to protect
the public through efficient and effective management of offenders.
