Hi everyone.  My name is mrscooper and I am the wife of a texas inmate.  My husband is doing 2 1/2 years on a parole violation.  Let me tell you he has been gone since April and I have no idea how I got through it but to say, BUT GOD..  I am here to learn something and to allow our story to be a testimony for others that feel they cant go on.

I currently am not working. I lost my job 2 days after my husband caught chain.  I feel alone, isolated and lost at times, but i remember all the tme the scripures that say,  he gives me no more than I can bear.  

I pray alot and I have made some wonderful friends who also share the same pains as I do.  It's funny but it is almost as if the friends you had before this journey are few and far between now.  Maybe they dont know what to say to me anymore, or they simply cant understand my life has come to a halt.  Until my husband is free I do his time with him.

Hi my name is Yellagurl1981, I am from Houston, Texas but currently living in Bryan, Texas.

My husband is incarcerated in the TDCJ system. He is serving a 2 year sentence for Felon in possession of a firarm.

I also look forward to getting to know everyone here!!!
