I was curious as to what type of help bi-polar people have that are in recovery for drugs . I know they have to be drug tested while they are in the follow up program? Anyone dealt with this?
Im not sure what kind of help bi polar people who are having issues with drug recoveries get. I do know that bi polar inmates do not get the proper care for thier disorder. I know they are fed thier medication but that is about it. The underlining problem lies in the lack of couseling and therapy that is available. There is none. I know because my husband suffers from bi polar disorder and that is what got him in prison in the first place. Until we get these people the proper care to help with thier bi polar they will not get better but worse.
