Take I-64 West to Staunton, then I-81 South and West to I-77 North. Take I-77 through Big Walker Mountain Tunnel and East River Mountain Tunnel, then take first Bluefield exit. State Route 598 to U.S. Route 460 West to Richlands and proceed on U.S. Route 460 fifteen miles to State Route 680; turn right onto State Route 680, then left onto State Route 629 to the site.

why doesnt anyone know anythig about this place? why do they callit the rock? is there a chat room or anything for this place where i can talk to people?
I'm in VA, Fairfax; husband is at Pocahontas CC, just down the road from Keen Mtn. I've heard mixed reviews on KM. Some great but some say it's the most racist prison in VA. A friend's son was there and he felt it was sooo bad he requested to go back to ROSP (SUPERMAX) just to get away from it and so they transferred him. But that's only one guy and the only one I've heard say anything so extreme. I have another f riend whose son is at KM and is ok w/it. I personally don't have any first hand info tho.
Im in va. also, but 8 hours away. havent seen my man in 3 months cuz they transferred him there instread of closer to home. I am trying to come see him-- miss him so bad and lonley with out him. How are there vistations? they ok? Do u drive to c ur man or take the bus? How do u get there?- keen monutain. Im lost but on my way to see my man. He is my strenght and the love of my life.
