i feel you pain , my son was always in trouble in sacramento ca. so istepped in and had him move to the bay area in san fran ca. with me  he stayed 2yrs. graduated and was doing well then he wanted to visit his mom for 3days he was in sacramento 2 hours and on the same corner his mom lives on a shooting occurred  needless to say he seen it all now he sits in prison for 25yrs to life +36 yrs. for not telling on who did it  the d.a. knows he didnt do it but found a way to tie him in on it and now 640,000.00 dollars later no justice and still no peace!!!!!!!!

My son is on 21 y.o and was with a 19 y.o women for 4 years. I knew she was trouble the first day I met her. As time went on she would fight my daughter and myself, She kicked my kitchen cabinets and tore up my deck. When my son got home from work she was drunk again and told him that she was having an affair and pulled a knife out on my son. She also has told him in the past the Jeff had better not go to sleep as she would kill him. Well the day that she was drunk, my som left and went to have a beer. When he got back it continued. Jeff got so mad that he did beat her up. He called me crying and got attempted murder charges. I could not believe it. The police did not put anything in the discover of what she did. To make a long story short he was sentenced to 7 years in prision. He just got married to a wonderful person. I do not know why there is not any justice in this system, and seems as if it is getting worse. What can we do as a community?
