Hi I am dating a guy who has been in prison a few times. My family keeps giving me crap about it. But he is the most sweetest man I have ever met. He helped me get a way from my abusive ex husband. he loves my kids he is so supportive and understanding he is just a real down to earth guy with a big heart that would do anything for any one. He was in prison for drugs. He has been clean for a year and is off perole. I guess my question is do men from prison really change or do they keep going back to there old ways. I love him and I trust him but some times i get scared becuse i am afraid he will go back to his old ways and it some times makes me pull away. I really hope we can have the future we talk about. My family just keeps making me feel worse about the whole situation. if anyone has any advise i would appriciate it. or if any one know people who have been to prison and really changed I would love to hear from you i need some positive support. thank you.

Hi, i just had to write you.I know it is very hard,my son is in there in prison.You know some days I get really mad,Cause I never brought my kids up to this junk of being in jail or prison or whatever the best term is.If he would have just left the drugs alone.I never knew of this for years.Why because i left my husband of 18 years of abuse.I do just fine now.I was never in trouble myself.So I wonder why I have to go throught this.I am on oxygen 24/7 and i havent seen him in over a year.It is very very hard.I lost my other son to a car wreck of age 10 now I have to go throught this.Yes it is very hard.My letters keep me in spirits and my savior above, i trust in him to bring him home next year safe.Just writing a few lines.--ssp5751@aol.com

my god always watch over you and your loved ones. my husband is also in prison and we have a daughter who will be graduating in 2009, so i know how it is, just hang in there and trust in the good lord

What really irritates me is the way prison Admin. staff.....who are well-paid....although maybe over-worked due to budget cuts ....but

what makes them think that they can treat civilians......who pay their wages through our hard-earned tax dolllars....what makes them think they can just yell, hollar and scream at a civilian over the phone...and for no reason other than they can't handle their own stress!

Some of these people need to be relieved of their jobs in the Prisons....there's plenty other people who would love to have their jobs. When some of these Admin. have been employed by the State Prison system for 15 years, they think they own the state and they think they can be as rude and as vicious as Satan himself as if it's their right! Well, I wrote to the Governor about it....let's see what he thinks! I love to hear when some of these.......so & so's end up in prison themselves!
